Where do I find the latest plug in to allow me to record flac files and is everyone else having issues with Nero 7 and 8 playing flac file? I have nero 6 but put the plug in as advised by Nero of the previous page to this and it still doesn’t recognise flac files. I’ve paid so much money out and never had any support off Nero but there’s little else that works as well sadly. Thanks.

This version can only give Constant Bit Rate (CBR).
Any and All newer versions of Lame can do VBR inside of Nero which is way better.
Please update this plug-in because your version is like 2002. Seriously. It was released in 2002.

I cannot get this plugin to work in any other mode than CBR.
If I set it f.i. to “preset standard”, it defaults to CBR 32 when encoding and messes up the time (2′ become 12′). Also, Nero crashes when using this plugin as the standard MP3 decoder when burning. The track is played at high speed when playing back in Nero, when burning the whole app crashes (incl drWatson :-)
