Ooops, what a wonderful comment program. It also deleted what I wrote in the 2nd comment. Last trial:
“*DBPATH.D:\temp” -> goes wrong
“*DBPATH..D:\temp” -> OK
And, please replace the dot with a space… =8-}

Can you input a file (say avi) to this program directly – or are you forced to install that avisynth stuff?

Hi, I want to enjoy all the features HC-Enc has to get the best mpeg2 encodings it can bring, so I need some more infos.
What’s the point in changing matrixes? Is there some speed gain in encoding? Is it a matter of encoding quality? If I can get better performance with changing matrix, how can I choose the best for my actual clip?

Yep i get the same message at the end of every first pass…:
