Comments(0) The popular DVD Fab dvd ripper/copier/transcoder product line has been upgraded. Once again the support for Sony ARccOS protection scheme has been further improved and the VSO’s recording engine has been updated in DVDFab.
Posted December 20, 2005 Comments(0) Microsoft says it is going to release some new software for the Xbox 360 within the next six months. It will be used to send and receive text messages within the existing MSN mobile phone network. Apparently, there will be no fee for this service. So, the 18% of smartphones and PDas in Europe that use Windows Mobile as their operating system will soon be able to talk with X360s at not charge.

The changelog promises huge speed improvements over the previous version and it now supports all the enhancement features of the most modern processors.

This time they focus on Plextor branded media which is manufactured by Taiyo Yuden, so premium results are expected. While the results are decent, it is very surprising to see that the results are not exactly top notch. Check out the review and do some comparisons to our 16x DVD+R tests.
