I mean the DVD conversion does not work as my topfield hard drive 7000 shows up on windows as wanting to be formatted and nothing else."This volume does not recognise the file system" is the following message. I have been trying to do this for two years now... Can anyone help?

There's a 0.75 alpha release included in latest AVStoDVD package. Don't know why there hasn't been a release since. The multi-threading makes one pas CBR high bit rate encodes fly. Downsizing BluRay to DVD is great with it. I'd love to find out more.

Sachin: not sure who you are referring to? If you are using MKV2VOB to encode the MKV filke i normally tick the box that says always transcode DTS and i have the box also ticked that says use 448 kps instead of ac3. you can play around with the boxes and try using different variations, these work so i use these. As for size of file, it will keep the same as far as i know, unless off course as i said in a earlier email i use rip bot, good prog but slow can take 5 hours to encode a movie. Not sure if it was i that ypou were referring your question too, if so i hope it helped, i am not a expert.I am still learning all this stuff.maybe you can get some other help from adubvideo as well.
