Sony PlayStation 3 browser screenshots

1UP has released a few screenshots about the browser feature of the upcoming Sony PS3. So far the discussion on the next-gen consoles has focused on the hardware, so it is nice to see some software aspects as well. According to the source, one can see hints of iTunes’ and Sony PSP’s design in these screenshots.

Sony has finally released proper images of what it recently demonstrated at its Gamers Day, the PS3’s browser and PlayStation Store.

As you can see in the pictures, the PS3 browser looks a lot different from what we’ve known to come to love on the PS2. Instead, it takes a page from the PSP design book, putting that next-gen power to work with a more elegant navigation system.
