HC Encoder v0.21 released!

We are proud to announce the availability of HC Encoder v0.21. Developer hank315 released a major update to his amazing MPEG-1/2 encoder. Changes include support to Intel’s SSSE3 and improved encoding speed for the best quality mode. Some new functionality and bug fixes included as well.



Changes from version v0.20:

  • added SSSE3 support
  • added some new functions: *LUMGAIN, *SILENT and *SCDFILE
  • higher encoding speed for best profile
  • as usual some bug fixes
