A short while ago we started hosting the HC Encoder, which is a high quality freeware MPEG-2 encoder. Today we are proud to announce the first new release via our site, as Hank has just updated the HC to version v0.17.

• more options for CQ encoding
• added gop, frames and chapter command as parameters for HCenc
• create a chapter list based on scene changes
• frame count starts at 0
• GUI bug fixes
• frame serving bug fixed
