DVD2One is one of the oldest DVD-to-DVD-R transcoders. The software development has always had the emphasis on simple usage and high speed of the transcoding. While transcoders like DVD2One are attractive due to their fast speed, the compression quality is sacrificed for speed. Especially with longer movies, the resulting copy can look pretty bad - especially if you have a large/high quality TV or use a projector. Version 2.04 comes with a few fixes.

What’s new in this version:

  • Languages added: Hungarian (thanks to Fitos Zoltan) and Swedish (thanks to Christer Carlsson).
  • Fixed a small problem: Corrupted headers in the video stream could crash DVD2one (thanks again to forum member NinjaSteve).
  • Changed the way mastering errors are handled in full disc copy mode: Instead of giving an error message and stop processing, now the errors are corrected and a warning will be displayed after processing.
  • Added option for fixed destination directory.
  • Mac: Disabled a compiler option that caused DVD2oneX not to run on a G3.
