AstonSoft’s DeepBurner is one of the very few free recording applications. It comes in three flavours: Free, Pro and Portable. The latter is sometimes very valuable as it requires no installation what so ever. Even though the functions are limited, you can run it even from a USB memory stick. Today they have announced an update.

• Added: “Save as…” dialog for saving DBR files
• Added: size of the tasks window is now being remembered upon restart of the program
